Absolutely stunning place inside Glasgow, there’s everything beside a cannel. What a beauty! Also hotels and all other facilities around the cannel. I love that place specially boat ⛴️ and wee walking areas. Evening or afternoon sky view is stunning from here no doubt. I’d recommend everyone must visit at least once here.

We were on a narrow boat holiday and moored in the basin for a couple of days. Surrounded by nice park space it is frequently visited by locals. Water ad electric hookups are available for boaters.

Myself and a group of friends stopped at Neptune's Staircase yesterday. We watched as a large boat was waiting to pass through the final lock on its way to Loch Lynnhe. As we waited a Scottish Canals employee called Ken chatted to us. He was very friendly and informative and brigtened up a miserable rainy day. This man is a credit to your company.

Travelling from west to east, this could be one of the most frustrating 3 days I've ever spent on a yacht. There seems to be no logic to lifting and lowering in the steps. Wasted best part of 3 days. Keepers lunch times are irregular ( and they need their breaks) so you wait at a lock keeper to lunch get through then wait at a swing bridge for someone else because they had a different break time. How hard is it to press a button 3 times a day. They give the Spanish a good run for the money Next time will sail around south coast unless it's force 6 or more

So cool to ride and job along the canals. Easy to get off and go grab a tea or snack along the road below. Goes well far up into Scotland from the city! Fun and lovely.

It's a privilege having a beautiful place close . I wish canal authorities make a better effort to keep it clean.
